Book A Test Ride

Spark Motos is located within the four-acre grounds of Clifton Nurseries in Addlestone, where we have the opportunity to allow test rides of Super Soco and NIU bikes on private land. Customers of 16 and over can try any of our electric mopeds (28 mph) and customers of 17 and over can try any bikes from the Super Socco and NIU ranges. This facility is available to people who are preparing to take their Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) so that these bikes can be experienced in a safe environment.

You'll need to provide us with a valid UK licence that entitles you to drive the machine of your choice, a proof of address that's no more than three-months old and your NI number. This will enable us to check your licence and provided it's valid and shows no more than 10 penalty points over the last five years, you'll be good to go.

Relative to petrol motorcycles all Zero models produce massive torque, which means they accelerate very swiftly and require an experienced rider. As such we only offer test rides to riders who meet the following, additional criteria;

For 11kW models

• At least 30 years old with a CBT (A1) licence or
• Held a full (A) licence for at least two years or
• Currently insured for a motorcycle of at least 60 hp

For 35kW models

• At least 30 years old with a current A2 licence or
• Currently insured for a motorcycle of at least 70 hp

Full power models (82kW)

• At least 30 years old with a full (A) licence or
• Existing Zero owner with a full (A) licence or
• Full (A) licence holder with a bike of at least 100 hp

Our Energica Eva Ribelle is the world’s most powerful electric motorcycle and develops more torque than any petrol motorcycle with an engine under 2.5 litres. As such, test rides are only available for those who meet the following, additional criteria:-

• At least 30 years old
• Held a full (A) licence for at least five years or
• Currently insured on a bike of at least 125 hp

We can arrange to bring a bike to you, however, there will be a cost depending on how far away you live from our store. This cost will be refunded if you purchase a new or pre-owned bike from us within three months of the test ride.
