The NIU NQi GTS ER is an electric smart scooter that rides on the larger 14 inch wheels which are better suited to its 109 kgs mass and greater load-carrying capacity. Stopping power is courtesy of NIU’s linked electronic braking system with a more powerful, 3 piston calliper and 220mm front disc setup, and a single piston calliper to stop the 180mm rear disc. Torque is up to an impressive 101 feet pounds which is ideal for maintaining speed over hilly terrain and for carrying a pillion.

The NIU NQi series smart scooters are NIU’s flagship models with twin batteries and a more powerful Bosch motor, which delivers 3.1 kW of continuous power. The 4.2 kWh Panasonic power packs fitted to the GTS ER provide a maximum range of around 71 miles and allow the bike to rapidly accelerate to its top speed of 50 mph.

NIU's smart electric scooter features include a large LCD display, all-round LED lighting, auto-off indicators, three riding modes, cruise control, a USB charging socket and a remotely operated, 3-axis movement detection alarm system, which provides real-time alerts and location updates via NIU’s mobile app.
