NIU NQi Series

The flagship NIU NQi series electric scooters all offer twin-batteries with one located under the floor area to lower the centre of gravity and the other located under the seat. Whilst the 28mph (50cc equivalent) Pro model rides on 12 inch wheels, both GTS models (125cc equivalents) have a 43mph top speed and run on 14 inch wheels for increased stability.


The Pro and GTS models share the same 3kW motor, which provides brisk acceleration for the 109 kg chassis, with a range of up to 70 miles in the case of both the Pro (28 mph) and GTS Pro (43 mph). The GTS Sport has a range of around 56 miles due to its slightly lower battery capacity which is reflected by its incredibly competitive price.

Brakes across the NIU N series benefit from a powerful, 3 piston caliper on the front 220mm disc, and the rear brake lever simultaneously sends power to the front brake thanks to NIU's excellent, combined braking system. The NQi series also benefit from NIU's EBC system which sends energy back to the battery whenever braking takes place, thus helping to extend range.

The NQi models are equipped with a distinctive, 6.5 inch LCD colour, backlit dash which is easy to read in all lighting conditions. Lighting is courtesy of maintenance-free LED technology, with NIUs signature halo headlamp providing safe daytime riding, as well as excellent nighttime illumination.

NIU's dazzling array of smart features include three riding modes, self cancelling indicators, cruise control, a USB power socket and a security system operated by a wireless remote key fob which provides real-time alerts with location data via the NIU smartphone app. With prices starting at just £2,956 + OTR for the 43 mph GTS Sport, the NQi range represents great value.
