The SR/F is based on Zero's, Italian-crafted FST (Fixed Steel Trellis) chassis and delivers a unique combination of effortless performance, precise handling, excellent composure and outstanding stopping power. 

Performance has never been so easy to master with Zero's beautifully mapped, ride by wire throttle, which sends commands to a controller capable of delivering up to 900 amps to a the Z-Force 75-10 motor, which in turn unleashes a peak output of 82 kW (110 hp) at 7,500 RPM and an astounding 190 Nm (140 ft lb) of torque. All this performance is delivered via a carbon belt drive, with unprecedented smoothness and quietness, which makes the bike's performance all the more pleasurable.

Weighing just 499 lb (227 kg) the SR/F consistently delivers a real-world 0-60 of just over 3 seconds. This doesn't require any special launch control technology or a race-trained rider; simply select Sport or Canyon mode, twist the throttle and hold on tight, all the way to a top speed of 124 mph.

The SR/F is highly customisable with five preset riding modes, plus Custom modes which vary engine braking, traction control and the adjustable drag torque control with a 30% slipper clutch effect. Riding modes can be selected from the switchgear and viewed on the all-new TFT colour dash, and custom modes can be created on Zero's mobile app and uploaded over a Bluetooth or mobile data connection.

The 43 mm, big piston, Showa front forks and rear, 40mm piston, piggyback reservoir shock both have fully adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping. Bosch Advanced MSC manages the ABS and traction control functions, whilst up front there's a pair of 320 mm discs that are gripped by meaty, monobloc, 4-piston J-Juan callipers and on the rear there's a 240 mm disc with a single piston calliper.

All lighting is provided by high output, low energy LED technology and an RFID immobiliser protects the SR/F from being activated without an original key.

The actively cooled 17.3 kWh power pack provides the highest energy density of any electric motorcycle and delivers up to an impressive 187 city miles or 93 motorway miles. A typical mixed cycle of around 120 miles can also be expected when the battery is charged to its full capacity.

The flat-six charger supports charging at up to 6.6kW when connected to a three-phase Type 2 charger, which will take a battery from 20% back to 110% in just two hours. A specially modified cable can be supplied which will match this charging speed from a domestic 7.2 kW Type 2 charger. For those who only have access to a standard mains socket, an optional 10 Amp charger is available, which will deliver a full charge in around seven hours. 

The 2024 SR/F can also benefit from the optional, 6 kW Charge Tank, which will reduce the time for a full charge to just an hour and ten minutes when using a three-phase Type 2 charger.

Park Mode provides a very useful, slow-speed forward and reverse capability. Although limited to 2 mph, Park Mode has automatically variable torque which enables the bike to deal with obstacles like kerbs and inclines with great ease.

A turn-by-turn navigation feature remains a Cypher Store option for 2024  and uses Bluetooth to pass navigation information from a smartphone to the new TFT display.
