CFMOTO - 1000MT-X

The 1000MT-X is CFMOTO's flagship adventure motorcycle, designed for riders who demand serious performance, versatility, and long-range capability on and off the road. Unveiled in late 2025, it propels the MT series into the liter-class adventure segment, but at a middleweight price.

At its core is a powerful 947cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine (DOHC, 8-valve), delivering approximately 111 hp (83 kW) at 8500 rpm and 105 Nm (77.4 lb-ft) of torque at 6250 rpm. This engine, refined with Bosch MSE 9.0 EFI and ride-by-wire throttle, offers smooth, linear power delivery with strong mid-range punch—ideal for highway cruising, twisty backroads, or tackling rugged terrain. A 6-speed transmission with a wet, multi-plate slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter ensures seamless shifts and control.

Built for true adventure, the 1000MT-X features premium suspension with fully adjustable KYB 48mm upside-down front forks (around 230mm travel) and a multi-link rear shock (also adjustable), paired with a sturdy tubular steel frame and aluminum swingarm for excellent handling and durability.

Braking comes courtesy of Brembo components, including dual 320mm front discs with four-piston calipers and a 240mm rear, enhanced by Bosch dual-channel ABS (switchable rear for off-road) and a 6-axis IMU supporting multiple ride modes, traction control, and cornering aids.

The bike's off-road credentials shine with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, high ground clearance, a protective skid plate, handguards, and a chain guard. Ergonomics prioritize comfort for extended rides with a 2-position seat, adjustable handlebars and windscreen, heated grips and seat, cruise control, and a slim upper profile.

A large 22.5-liter (5 gallon) fuel tank provides impressive rangeo fo up to 300 miles of mixed riding, making it perfect for remote exploration. Tech highlights include an 8-inch full-color TFT touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation integration via the CFMOTO Ride app, TPMS (tire pressure monitoring), and smartphone mirroring.

Weighing in at around 222 kg wet, the 1000MT-X strikes an agile balance between lightweight responsiveness and big-bike stability and is aggressive styled in a choice of Tactical Green or Aerolite Grey.
