The Del Mar became the first LiveWire to be launched on the S2 platform, which is based on 400v battery technology, with 10.5kWh of usable storage. Despite being an A2 licence category motorcycle, the Del Mar produces peak power of 84hp, with a staggering 194ft lb of torque, and rockets to 60mph in just 3 seconds. The massive torque figure ensures an instant throttle response across the bike's entire speed range, and five riding modes provide the flexibility to suit all conditions and riding styles. In addition, a newly launched reverse feature adds to the bike's versatility by allowing easy maneuvering across poor surfaces and inclines. Variable engine braking allows for one-handed riding, with minimal need to call on the powerful Brembo stoppers, which are tamed by cornering-enhanced ABS and Traction Control. The Del Mar offers an upright riding position and sits on 19" front and rear wheels, shod with Dunlop DT1 tyres, which, assisted by the fully adjustable Showa suspension, perform across a range of surfaces. The Dal Mar's range is very dependent on riding style, but with up to 113 city miles and approximately 70 highway miles, it will meet the needs of most commuters and leisure riders. Charging from 20-80% can be achieved in just 75 minutes from a Type 2 EV charger, and the included mains to Type 2 charger takes around six hours for a full charge.

The Del Mar links to the LiveWire S2 app to provide the bike's location, event detection, tyre pressures, ride history and software updates.
