New for 2026, the 800MT-ES is the latest addition to CFMOTO’s range of multi-function tourers, perfectly complementing the existing lineup of the 700MT, and the dual-sport 800MT-X and flagship 1000MT-X.
The 800MT-ES sits firmly in the luxury, midweight tourer category, and is the first CFMOTO to feature the jointly developed, KYB Intelligent Electronic Suspension system. The 41 mm USD fork and rear monoshock are electronically adjustable, whilst also being able to adapt to terrain, load and riding conditions in real time. To help tune the set-up to different loads, preload can be selected through four settings:
- Rider only
- Rider with luggage
- Rider with pillion
- Rider with pillion and luggage
Speed-sensitive damping can also be adjusted between Comfort, Standard and Sport modes, to strike the correct balance between handling and comfort.
The 19"/17" wheel combination is shod with Michelin Anakee Adventure tyres to provide an 80/20 bias towards road use. As with the 800MT-X, twin 320mm front discs are gripped by powerful, four-piston J Juan calipers and the rear, 260mm disc uses a twin-piston, J Juan caliper.
The liquid cooled, 799cc motor has twin balancer shafts for improved smoothness, and develops a peak of 94 hp, with peak torque of 57 ft lb arriving at 6,500 rpm. The six speed box is equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter, whilst a slipper clutch maximises grip during downshifts.
