The Super Soco TC with it's retro, cafe racer styling and high-tech underpinnings, is a stylish, urban commuting electric moped with a 1.8kW removable Lithium-ion battery that can be charged from a standard 13 amp wall socket with its separate 240W charger.
The Bosch motor delivers 1.5kW (2 hp) of continuous power with a maximum of 3kW, but with an impressive 110 feet pounds of torque, this 84 kg machine accelerates very swiftly off the mark up to its top speed of 28 mph.
Range is around 40 miles with the option to double this with the addition of an extra battery at £875.
Suspension is via upside-down front forks and an adjustable mono shock at the rear and the 17 inch alloy wheels are fitted with dual piston callipers which stop the 220mm front and 180mm rear, drilled disks.
Advanced features include bright LED lighting throughout, keyless go, an LCD/Analogue instrument panel and an anti theft alarm/immobiliser system that is activated and deactivated with a wireless remote.
For people of 17 and over the TC can be derestricted, which will increase its top speed to a maximum of 45 mph. This modification alters the classification of the TC which would need to be notified to the insurer. Please note that operating at speeds above 28 mph will reduce range.
